Bishop Laney's Charity
Bishop Laney’s Charity provides grants to help apprentices and students from Ely and Soham with their training and further education. The charity has given these grants to assist school leavers aged under 25 living in Ely or Soham, for over 340 years. The charity was named after Benjamin Laney, who was Bishop of Ely until 1674, when he died at the age of 84. Bishop Laney’s Charity carries on the legacy today, continuing to help school leavers with financial assistance in the years they need it the most.
When Bishop Laney’s Charity first came to us in June 2018, they were looking to modernise and standardise the Charity’s offering, as part of its revised marketing strategy. This was to be achieved through a refreshed logo, leaflets, brochures, stationery and other literature.
