BACKGROUND

The Fabric Vase Company are a small creative textile company in Cambridgeshire, with all products handmade in Ely. Heather, often found behind the sewing machine, perviously designed children's clothes under the name of The Calico Tree, in Scotland. Following a move south, with more time to be creative again, Calico Tree Designs began. The idea of fabric vases proved to be a popular gift to give and this led to the renaming of the business to The Fabric Vase Company. We met Heather at the Ely Independents' Day Market in July 2015, had a brief chat about what she was after and booked in a meeting to go through her ideas in more detail; from where we started on the re-brand.

SOLUTION

First of all came the logo, we worked with Heather to create and modernise her brand identity and produced a design imaginatively different to what Heather expected - but loved! From here, we've designed an array of printed items including business cards, product tags, stickers and roller banners for trade shows. We also developed an online shop to be able to sell all the wonderful handmade products further afield.

RESULT

Since we refreshed Heather's brand into The Fabric Vase Company, she's seen sales soar and new stockists added - even a number of National Trust properties! The website has allowed for sales online and the new printed materials have given a strong brand presense at the multiple craft shows and exhibitions attended.
